Designed User Interface for network administrators to monitor and manage virtual networks.

overview

I worked on Platform as a Service (Paas) solutions. Being the only designer I introduced design methodologies into the company and proactively advocated the importance of user centric design. All through the process I aggressively sketched, prototyped and iterated on the designs. I worked closely with product managers, users and developers to build the product from the ground up.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES 

- Conducted stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis, designed personas and information hierarchy
- Worked closely with product managers, and developers to define user specifications
- Created UI screen flows, interactive wireframes and iterate on it

I collaborated with the User Researcher to test the designs. We found that the users got confused about the length of the process and where they are in it. We analized the research findings to understand users' mental model and iterated on the designs. I also worked with the Business Unit team to refine content and do SEO optimization on the site. I further assisted the engineers and updated the frontend using HTML5/CSS to reflect the UI and content changes
